We offer a broad range of services to the energy sector.  For example, standard tests might include the measurement of sound absorption using the impedance tube or the measurement of sound insulation in the transmission suite.  We also conducted several research studies in the area  of noise and vibration from both small and large wind turbines.

  • Impedance tube testing for normal incidence sound absorption and transmission loss
  • Sound intensity methods to BS EN ISO 9614-1:2009 / BS EN ISO 9614-3:2009 / BS EN ISO 15186-3:2010
  • Ventilation duct silencer testing BS EN ISO 7235:2009 / BS EN ISO 11820:1997

  • Noise source tracking/localisation
